Safety for Swimming

These are good swimming safety guidelines and will point you in the right direction on keeping your pool safe. Contact a local fence contractor that can help with your swimming pool safety fencing.
Make swimming safety a part of your pool and have a great and SAFE swimming season.

  1. Install a swimming pool safety fence or barrier completely around your pool.
  2. The swimming pool safety gate should be self-closing and self-latching, especially on safety pool fences.
  3. Swimming pool door alarms for the inside of your house and fence alarms on the doors of the safety pool fencing that leads to the pool and the pool gate are recommended. These pool safety alarms are just part of the layers of protection you need.
  4. Install and use a quality swimming pool alarm.
  5. Instruct any babysitter on the dangers of leaving a child unattended. Install inground pool safety covers or a swimming pool safety net and use it.

Hot Tub Rash

Simply put, Hot Tub Rash (hot tub folliculitis) is an infection and/or abscess of the skin due to poor pool or hot tub water quality.

Many current health articles and women health issues might consider this itchy skin rash and swimming pool rash to be a superinfection. It can also migrate into scalp problems if left untreated.

From these jet tubs, your skin has this nasty itch and spa rash that may last for days and then you may get a red, bumpy rash that hurts or is tender to the touch.
